Call out for Submissions

Inscrutable Press are calling out for submissions from young Tasmanians for our second book,
I Sleep In Haysheds and Corners.


We'd love you to send in stories under 1000 words responding to the title. The best ten will be included in the book. Yes, you will be paid: $150 for a published story. Not only that, your scribblings will be given to local crafters, whose artistic responses will also be published in the book, and included in a local exhibition.

The fine print? The main thing is, you have to be under 30. Stories must also keep to the guidelines and be accompanied by a coversheet, downloadable here.
